There are two constructions from GSI; firstly, a carbon (blade, shaft and handle) and secondly a fiberglass composite option.

The LakeSUP Aluminum Shaft and Epoxy Paddle is a great answer for those looking for an entry-level durable SUP paddle at the ideal length of 75 inches. We' have refined this new blade to come with the same tear-drop shape. This all purpose paddle is great for new SUP riders, resorts and kids. For multiple users, you might want the adjustable paddle. For multiple users, try the one of the Adjustable paddle options.

SUP SURFLOCKS
This extremely handy device works great when it's time to leave your SUP on the roof-rack for a while, or when you want to lock it up overnight. The crab-pincher is made of forged steel and 'grabs' the little eyelet strapholder in the back of most surfboards or can be installed into the fin-box. When the pincher is in place, the lock secures it, and the cable attaches your SUP to whatever you want!

There are two constructions from GSI; firstly, a carbon (blade, shaft and handle) and secondly a fiberglass composite option.
Both
paddles weigh approximately 800 grams, so they are light. The benefit
of the carbon is the stiffness. The carbon allows the maximum amount of
your effort to be transferred to torque giving you maximum thrust per
stroke. The composite paddle isn't quite as stiff, reducing your output
slightly, but it is still very high quality. The handles are not
glued in place and allow the paddler to adjust the length of the paddle about 8 inches above their height before they glue it into place.
The blades are 81/2" and give great performance no matter if you are in the surf or on flat water.
